Gustaf Sundell is Executive Vice President and Head of Ventures and New Business at Scania. He is responsible for exploring new growth opportunities, business models and strategic partnerships that support Scania’s long-term competitiveness in a rapidly changing transport industry. 

Gustaf joined Scania in 2008 and has held a range of leadership positions across the company, both internationally and in Sweden. His previous roles include Managing Director of Sweden Growth Capital, Managing Director of Scania Group Industrial Thailand, Sales Director Trucks for Africa and Asia-Pacific, and Head of Strategy and Corporate Management. In 2022, he was appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Ventures and New Business. 

With a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, Gustaf brings extensive experience in strategy, business development and international operations. His work focuses on understanding how major industry shifts are reshaping transport and how Scania can continue to create customer value while building on its strong heritage and global position.
