Edvinas Grikšas has served as Lithuania’s Minister of the Economy and Innovation since September 2025. Previously, he worked in the field of innovation policy development helping shape Lithuania’s strategy in innovation, digitalisation and industrial transformation while also representing the country in several international organisations. Under his leadership, the Ministry places focus on promoting innovation, attracting investment, supporting startups, strengthening business collaboration and enhancing Lithuania’s global economic competitiveness.
Edvinas holds a BA in History from Vilnius University and an MA in Management from Mykolas Romeris University.
Project & Product Manager, ABONA Deutschland
With a background at manufacturers with a strong reputation in the metal and electrical industry, Oguz-Kaan Oeztuerk now works as a Project and Product Manager at ABONA – a software company that makes digitalization in transport and logistics understandable and accessible, particularly through its ERP and Transport Management System and its user-friendly web portal.
Since joining ABONA in 2023, Oguz-Kaan has been involved in key innovation projects, including the European initiative eFTI4ALL, where the company actively contributes to future-oriented digital standards and develops its own eFTI platform.
His focus is on translating complex requirements into clear, workable solutions. Oguz-Kaan represents the user’s perspective and collaborates closely with the development teams, with the goal of improving processes in ways that are not only digital but also truly noticeable in everyday business.
Data Expert, EIT Urban Mobility
Lucie is a transport policy, economics and innovation specialist with 10 years of experience. Until 2025, she managed the European projects team at the German National Academy of Science and Engineering, coordinating the European Mobility Data Space (EMDS) deployment project with 45 partners. Previously, as a Transport Analyst at the ITF-OECD, Lucie advised ministries and prepared studies on transport decarbonisation and digital transformation.
Executive Vice President and Head of Ventures and New Business, Scania
Gustaf Sundell is Executive Vice President and Head of Ventures and New Business at Scania. He is responsible for exploring new growth opportunities, business models and strategic partnerships that support Scania’s long-term competitiveness in a rapidly changing transport industry.
Gustaf joined Scania in 2008 and has held a range of leadership positions across the company, both internationally and in Sweden. His previous roles include Managing Director of Sweden Growth Capital, Managing Director of Scania Group Industrial Thailand, Sales Director Trucks for Africa and Asia-Pacific, and Head of Strategy and Corporate Management. In 2022, he was appointed Executive Vice President and Head of Ventures and New Business.
With a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, Gustaf brings extensive experience in strategy, business development and international operations. His work focuses on understanding how major industry shifts are reshaping transport and how Scania can continue to create customer value while building on its strong heritage and global position.
President, Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK)
Vidmantas Janulevičius has served as President of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK), the country's largest business organization, since 2020. In 2024, he was re-elected for a second four-year term.
Mr. Janulevičius founded the engineering and high-technology group Global BOD Group, which was the first company in Lithuania to manufacture innovative data storage media. The group later expanded into the production of solar cells and modules, ophthalmic lenses, and other high value-added technologies.
In 2024, in recognition of his contribution to the development of Lithuanian industry, his bold innovations in the field of the green transition, and his active representation of Lithuanian business interests in international markets, President Gitanas Nausėda awarded Vidmantas Janulevičius the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas.
Head of Transport Function Support Department, Girteka
Dainius Augutis has been part of the Girteka team since 2010. He began his career in freight planning and later continued his professional journey within the Transport Processes Department. For the past 6–7 years, he has been leading the Transport Functions Management Department.
Throughout this period, Dainius has played a key role in driving the company’s digital transformation initiatives. His contributions include the implementation of automated route planning tools, telematics solutions, and improvements to the digital experience for drivers. He has also led the introduction of personal virtual payment cards and a range of other technology-driven projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency and enhancing user experience across the organization.
CEO, GBY Group
Kazimieras Vasiliauskas is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of GBY Group, responsible for the Group's strategic development, growth, and corporate governance.
His professional background spans business development, law, and organizational leadership. A qualified lawyer by profession, Kazimieras previously specialized in commercial law, dispute resolution, and arbitration.
Today, he leads GBY Group's transformation into a diversified business group operating across the transportation, mobility, rental, investment, and real estate sectors.
Kazimieras also holds an international Executive MBA, further strengthening his strategic and leadership expertise.
His leadership approach is defined by strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a strong focus on creating long-term business value.
CEO, Geopolitics and Security Studies Center
Linas Kojala is CEO of the Geopolitics and Security Studies Center and Associate Professor of Partnership at Vilnius University’s Institute of International Relations and Political Science. He is also a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council and non-resident fellow at the Kennan Institute.
An internationally recognized voice on international affairs, his analysis has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, CNN, FAZ, Foreign Policy, and other international media. He has moderated high-level discussions with heads of state and government, as well as international leaders including Alexander Stubb, Mark Rutte, Maia Sandu, Petr Pavel, and others. He was named a Munich Young Leader by the Munich Security Conference and the Körber Foundation, and has received DELFI’s Titanium Award as well as the Social Media Influencers’ Award for foreign policy commentary.
Kojala is consistently ranked among Lithuania’s three most influential public figures and placed second in 2025. He is the author of two books on European politics and U.S. foreign policy. He is also a recipient of the Finnish state decoration – Knight First Class of the Order of the Lion of Finland.
He holds a BA and MA in International Relations from Vilnius University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business from Oxford University, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge. As a Fulbright Scholar, he was based at Harvard University.

Gintarė Verbickaitė is one of the leading voices shaping Lithuania’s innovation and startup ecosystem. As CEO of Unicorns Lithuania, she champions the national association of over 130 high-growth technology powerhouses and tech unicorns.
With two decades of global experience across Australia, Estonia, and Lithuania, Gintarė operates at the forefront of digital economies, investment, and innovation policy. Previously, as VP of Global Growth at Invest Lithuania, she was a key architect in transforming the country into a premier European fintech hub – a landmark impact recognized with the Fintech Leader of the Year award.
A strategic connector on the global stage, she is also the founder of the Australian Lithuanian Business Council and an advisor to Global Lithuanian Leaders.
Head of Product Area - Air Quality and Sustainability Solutions, Robert BOSCH GmbH
After completing his studies in electrical engineering and economics followed by a doctorate at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Dr. Marco Babic began his professional career at Bosch in 2007.
After many years of experience in development and customer projects in the automotive sector, in his current position he is responsible for developing and marketing solutions for air quality and sustainability, such as the Digital Fuel Twin platform.
Regional Director, Innovation Hub West & Innovation Hub North, EIT Urban Mobility
Willem-Frederik Metzelaar serves as Regional Director of Innovation Hub West & Innovation Hub North at EIT Urban Mobility, Europe's largest community for urban mobility innovation. He leads the Western and Northern European ecosystem, connecting cities, industry, academia and investors across the region.
His work focuses on large-scale mobility transformation: infrastructure renewal, traffic safety, digitalisation, public-private investment models and cross-border innovation ecosystems.
Community & Partnerships Lead, Milestone Systems
Roland Harwood works at the intersection of smart cities, responsible AI, and climate innovation. He is Community and Partnerships Lead at Milestone Systems (part of the Canon Group), where he is building a global network of developers and cities advancing computer vision through Project Hafnia.
He is also co-founder of the Climate Tech Supercluster, which convenes the Net Zero Living community of practice, working with 59 towns and cities.
Roland holds a PhD in Physics and is a visiting lecturer at several universities, a Trustee of the Participatory Cities Foundation, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Sustainability Manager Baltics, Neste Marketing & Services
Jone Sestakauskaite has an international professional background from working at different Nordic organizations, both private and public, in Sweden and in the Baltics. As Policy Officer at the Swedish Embassy in Lithuania and later as Managing Director of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, she especially focused on Nordic-Baltic trade relations.
Currently, Jone works as Sustainability Manager Baltics at Neste Marketing & Services, collaborating with companies striving toward their sustainability goals, especially those focused on reducing GHG emissions in their operations.

Transport Innovation Forum – the leading event for transport and logistics professionals in the Baltic States – returns to LITEXPO in Vilnius on 14–15 October 2026.
This year’s Forum theme, “Adapt to the Never Normal”, reflects the reality facing today’s transport and logistics sector: constant change driven by geopolitical uncertainty, economic volatility, rising operational costs, the transition to alternative energy sources, and rapid digital transformation.
The 8th International Transport Innovation Forum will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and representatives of international organizations to explore the sector’s transformation, discuss emerging challenges, and examine how adaptability is becoming a key strategic advantage in an increasingly unpredictable world.
As every year, more than 800 participants from over 20 countries will gather in Vilnius to exchange insights, build partnerships, and identify solutions that strengthen resilience and accelerate innovation across the transport and logistics ecosystem.
