Edvinas Grikšas has served as Lithuania’s Minister of the Economy and Innovation since September 2025. Previously, he worked in the field of innovation policy development helping shape Lithuania’s strategy in innovation, digitalisation and industrial transformation while also representing the country in several international organisations. Under his leadership, the Ministry places focus on promoting innovation, attracting investment, supporting startups, strengthening business collaboration and enhancing Lithuania’s global economic competitiveness.  

Edvinas holds a BA in History from Vilnius University and an MA in Management from Mykolas Romeris University.
