Laimonas Rimkus is the CEO of Klaipėda-based „BEGA“ Stevedoring Company and President of the Lithuanian Stevedoring Companies Association. He has more than 30 years of experience in the port and transport sector – he began his professional career at „BEGA“ in 1995 and has been leading the company since 2017.

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in the development of modern, multifunctional port terminals and cargo handling technologies, contributing to the development of transport and port infrastructure and the implementation of technological solutions and innovations.

As President of the Lithuanian Stevedoring Companies Association, he represents the country’s port cargo handling sector and contributes to shaping its position on transport policy, competitiveness, infrastructure, sustainability and innovation.
