Maciej Grodzicki is an Adviser at the Systemic Risk and Financial Institutions Division of the European Central Bank. He is working extensively on financial stability issues in the euro area banking sector such as asset quality, linkages between banks and non-bank financial intermediaries and on bank profitability and consolidation. He also contributes to development of policy concerning capital buffers for systemically important banks.

Previously, he was involved in several EU-wide stress testing exercises and in the design and monitoring of the implementation of the economic adjustment programmes in the euro area countries.
