Sigitas Mitkus
Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania
Sigitas Mitkus is Vice-Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, bringing extensive experience in Lithuanian foreign policy, European affairs, and international economic relations. He has held senior positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, served as Foreign Policy Adviser to the President of Lithuania, and represented Lithuania at the Embassy in the United Kingdom and at the EU institutions. He also played an important role in Lithuania’s EU accession negotiations and has been recognized with several national and international awards, including the Order of the White Eagle of the Republic of Poland.
