Mindaugas Šatkauskas is a businessman and insurance expert with more than 17 years of experience working with companies in the logistics sector. He is the founder of “Insurance Bee”, a group of insurance brokerage and claims management companies specialising in transport business risks. In 2026, “Insurance Bee” became part of “RENOMIA GROUP”, one of the largest insurance and risk management groups in Central and Eastern Europe.
According to M. Šatkauskas, insurance is not only essential business protection but also a strategic tool for managing business risks. Under his leadership, the team analyses the causes of claims and implements preventive, technological and artificial intelligence solutions aimed at helping transport companies manage risks more effectively, reduce the number of insurance claims and lower insurance costs.
M. Šatkauskas also sets ambitious goals beyond the business world: he aims to climb all 14 of the world’s highest peaks, each exceeding 8,000 metres in altitude. To date, he has already climbed 7 of the world’s highest peaks, including Mount Everest.
